CF: How long have you been blogging for? JO: I've been blogging since 2011, but under a different name/alias. Bam It's Joanne is a new venture that I started out in March this year, and it's been doing really well, so I've decided to stick to this and not change it anymore!
CF: How would you best describe your style? JO: I've definitely gotten a lot more feminine throughout my blogging years. I started out really as a tomboy, would ONLY wear shorts and jeans, and dresses are a no-go. Nowadays, I feel a lot sexier and more confident in skirts, and actually don't mind dresses so much! I still try to maintain a boyish side of me though and give my outfits a little bit of edge.
CF: Where is your favourite place to hang out? Any hidden spots? JO: I'm usually pretty busy with Uni, part time work, my blog and FABSOC (I started a Fashion and Beauty Society at Usyd this year!) so whenever I "hang out", it's at food places so I kill two birds with one stone :P I LOVE Bourke St Bakery- I get their chocolate raspberry tart every time I'm there!
CF: What trend are you coveting this season? JO: I'm a little over the "monochrome" and "stripes" trend.. I'm still loving the crop top + pencil skirt trend, also loving drop-waist flare skirts and full skirts a lot. Looking forward to fall's new trend of light pink coats...
CF: What are you favourite beauty products? JO: I love the Chanel translucent powder.. keeps my face matte and goes perfectly over foundation. Benefit's They're Real! Mascara works wonders on my short and straight lashes, and I cannot live without my Stila Stay All Day liquid eyeliner. It dries really quickly and doesn't smudge! I'm already on my third purchase!
CF: What is on your playlist at the moment? JO: I'm not very adventurous when it comes to music, so it's always just whatever's on Spotify's Top 50 list. I also love songs from the 70's and80's.
CF: If we peeked in to your handbag, what would we come across? Estee Lauder pink lipgloss (for emergencies) Maybelline Baby Lips Water bottle Snacks (like nut bars, raisins, carrot sticks) Wallet Phone Pencil case Notebook/Printed lecture notes (uni student life!) Kikki K Financial Year Diary
